# Reviews & community

> Rate and review what you buy, comment on items, favorite what you love, and follow authors to keep up with their work.

The Marketplace is a community. Reviews and interactions help buyers choose well and help authors improve.

## Reviews & ratings

After you buy an item, you can leave a **star rating** and a written review. Your feedback shows on the item page and contributes to the item's and author's overall rating. Authors can reply to reviews to respond or help.

  Reviews carry the most weight when they're specific — mention what worked, what you used the item for, and anything that surprised you.

## Comments

Items have a **comments** section for questions and discussion. Verified buyers are marked, and authors often answer questions here before you buy.

## Favorites

Tap the heart on any item to **favorite** it. Your favorites are saved so you can come back and buy later, or keep a shortlist while you compare.

## Following authors

**Follow** an author to keep up with their new releases. You can browse an author's full profile — their portfolio, ratings, and stats — from any of their items.
