# Adding your photos & media

> How to upload photos and video to Studio, what makes a good image, and how Vihaan decides where each one goes.

Your photos are what make a Studio video personal. Here's how to add them and get the best placement.

## Uploading

* **Upload from your device**, or select media you've used before.
* You can add **photos** and short **video clips**.
* Add the number of images the template features — Vihaan tells you how many slots there are.

## What makes a good photo

    Clear, bright photos look best. Blurry or very dark images may be flagged.

    Higher-resolution images crop cleanly into the template without looking soft.

    A photo with an obvious focal point (a face, a couple, a product) places better than a busy scene.

    Match the slot when you can — vertical photos suit vertical templates, and so on.

## How Vihaan places your media

You don't have to decide which photo goes where. Vihaan reads each image — its quality, orientation, and subject — and places them like an editor would:

* Your **best, highest-quality image** goes in the **hero** spot.
* Remaining photos fill secondary slots, arranged for a balanced result.
* Each image is cropped to fit its slot cleanly, keeping the important part in frame.

  Because placement is automatic, the quickest way to change the hero photo is to provide a stronger image — or ask Vihaan to swap it during review.

  Always check the review card to confirm your photos landed where you expect. If a slot looks empty, re-upload that image or pick a different one before rendering.
