# Languages & formats

> Ask for on-screen text in the language you want, and understand video formats like vertical, square, and landscape.

## Languages

Studio can produce on-screen text in many languages. Just ask Vihaan for the one you want — for example:

> “… in Hindi”, “… in Marathi”, or “… with the text in English.”

<Tip>
  Spell names and important words exactly as you want them to appear. Vihaan uses your spelling, which matters for names, places, and brand terms.
</Tip>

<Note>
  Some templates are designed around a particular script or style. If a language needs a specific font or layout, Vihaan will pick a template that supports it — or suggest the closest match.
</Note>

## Video formats

Every template has a **format** — the shape of the finished video. Choosing the right one matters for where you'll post it.

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Vertical (9:16)" icon="mobile">
    Best for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and status updates — fills a phone screen.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Square (1:1)" icon="square">
    Great for feed posts that look good on any device.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Landscape (16:9)" icon="rectangle-wide">
    Ideal for YouTube, presentations, and wide screens.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

<Warning>
  A template's format is fixed by its design — so if you need a vertical video, choose a vertical template. Tell Vihaan where you'll post (“for Instagram Reels”) and it will steer you to the right shape.
</Warning>

## Matching photos to format

* **Vertical templates** look best with vertical (portrait) photos.
* **Landscape templates** suit horizontal photos.
* Vihaan crops your images to fit either way, but a well-matched photo keeps more of the important part in frame. See [Adding your photos](/studio/adding-media).
