# Refining & re-rendering

> Not quite right? Adjust the text, swap a photo, change colors, or try a different template — then render again.

Your first result is a starting point. Refining is part of the process — and drafts make it free to iterate.

## How to refine

Just keep chatting with Vihaan. Tell it what to change in plain language:

<CodeGroup>
  ```text Change the wording theme={null}
  Change the heading to “Save the Date” and make the date bold.
  ```

  ```text Swap a photo theme={null}
  Use the second photo as the main one instead.
  ```

  ```text Adjust colors theme={null}
  Make the accent color a deeper green.
  ```

  ```text Try another template theme={null}
  Show me a more minimal template for this.
  ```
</CodeGroup>

## The refine loop

<Steps>
  <Step title="Ask for a change">
    Describe what you want different — text, photo, color, or template.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Preview with a draft">
    Render a draft to see the change. Drafts are free, so iterate as much as you like.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Render the final">
    When it looks right, render the final video. Only final renders use credits.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Change one thing at a time and preview it — it's the fastest way to zero in on exactly what you want.
</Tip>

## Editing at the review step

You can also make quick edits right on the **review card** before rendering — fix a name inline, change a color swatch, or confirm which photo goes where. See [Reviewing & rendering](/studio/review-and-render).

<Note>
  Every render is kept in your project, so you can compare versions and re-download an earlier one any time. See [Downloads & projects](/studio/downloads-and-projects).
