AIClips uses credits to meter AI usage. This page explains the big picture; each product has its own detailed page.

Two credit balances

Today, Studio and AI Apps use separate credit balances. Your sign-in is shared across all products, but the credits you use for Studio video renders are metered independently from the credits used for AI Apps generations. Check each product’s balance where you use it.

Studio credits

Meter finished videos. A final video is 15 credits; drafts are free. Plans: Free, Creator, Max.

AI Apps credits

Meter each generation (image, video, voiceover, 3D, avatar). Cost varies by tool and settings.

Marketplace

The Marketplace is mostly pay-per-item (you buy templates and assets) with an optional Premium subscription for ongoing access. See Subscriptions & Premium.

How charging works

  • Estimates first — you always see the cost before you spend.
  • Reserve, then charge — credits are held when a job starts and finalized on success.
  • Automatic refunds — if a generation or render fails, the credits come back.

You can upgrade your plan or top up credits any time. Current pricing and included amounts are always shown in the app.
